He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Petras and Mary Petras; his wife Ruth Petras; and his son Richard "Richie" Petras. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Lauren), Marc and Renee Castelveter (Tony); his grandchildren, Robert Petras, Alison Ogurchak (Jonathan), Becca Pierpont (Gary), Madison Castelveter and Julia Petras; and his great grandchildren, Wylie, Levi, Violet Ogurchak, Kaelyn and Brayden Pierpont.
