He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Combs and Gale Combs; and his children, Kathleen and Melissa Combs. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Gertrude Combs (Halligan); and his children, James T. Combs (Carol), Jim, Ben, Alan, Duane Combs, Stephen Kester and Daniel Kester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
