He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hartz and Elizabeth Hartz. He is survived by: his children, Zachary (Megha), Taylor Zimmerman (Ryan) and Joshua (Grace); his siblings, Cynthia Scott (William) and Paul Hartz; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth, Rosemary Hartz and Lillian Zimmerman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
