He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slabonik and Helen Gorse Slabonik; and his mother-in-law Nancy Bibb. He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Bibb Slabonik; his daughters, Sara L. Slabonik (Philip Fahnestock) of Collingswood, NJ, Emily L. Slabonik Prentice (Hugh) of Easton, PA and Suzy M. Slabonik (Biggie Big); his siblings, Helen Richards (Hiram), Kathleen Nenninger (Paul), William Slabonik (Patricia), James Slabonik, Mary Sill, John Slabonik, Barbara Reitz (Stephen), Theresa Salinger (David), Mark Slabonik (Maria), Frances Slabonik (Lori), Anne Myers (Ronald) and Luke Slabonik (Kelly); his grandsons, Lincoln Fahnestock, Hugh Prentice and Simon Matthew Prentice; and his father-in-law Marlin Bibb. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his beloved cat, "Smokey" and grand-dog.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
