He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Slotterback and Helen Slotterback (Overkott); and his siblings, Guy, Robert, Anna, Marion and Grace.
He is survived by: his family Richard; his wife Ruth Ann Slotterback (Yost); his children, John Slotterback of Catawissa and Sally Slotterback of Lavelle; and his sister Elva Slotterback of Orwigsburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
