She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Schaeffer; her parents, Floyd Gehrig and Ella Nora Gehrig (Gerhard); and her brother Paul Gehrig (Josephine Gehrig). She is survived by: her sons, Scott A. Schaeffer (Judy) of Laureldale and Jeffrey R. Schaeffer (Kathy) of Temple; her grandchildren, Becky DiLuzio (Jon), Matt Schaeffer (Amanda), Josh Schaeffer (Cheryl Boutwell) and Ben Schaeffer (Kathryn Trujillo); her great grandchildren, Delani, Corbin Walker, Carter and Jaxon Schaeffer; and her niece Judy Gehrig.
