It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara (Zink) Madl (Laureldale, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Zink and Mary M. Templin (Dunkelberger); her son James Ian Madl; her sisters, Marylouise Hodgkins and Dorothy E. Miller; and her half-sister Barbara A. Ulrich.

She is survived by: her spouse Francis J. Madl Jr.; her children, Kristine L. (Frank Lubas) of Birdsboro, Stephen L. Madl of Deer Lake, Francis J. III, Jan Madl (Kohl) of Reading, William T. (Mary M.), Kathryn A. Hanna (Rich McClarin) of Leola, Michael A. (Sherri Madl) of Tilghman and Lynn A. Hess (Eric Bausch) of Douglassville; and her half-siblings, Linda Haas, Janice Colomarino and George A. Templin. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
