He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman E. Shade and Helen Shade (Dreibelbis); his wife Charlotte D. Shade (Hendricks); and his brothers, Donald and Russell Shade.
He is survived by: his children, Milton E. Shade Jr. (Mary) of Ephrata and Dawn H. Pritchard of Leesport; his grandchildren, Eric Shade, Timothy Shade and Adrienne Drexel; and his sister Shirley Kauffman (Norman) of State College, PA.. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
