He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert L. Dietrich, Sr. and Mary Dietrich (Natale); his daughter Stacey Dietrich; his grandson Tyler Dietrich; and his brothers, Ronald Natale and Vincent Dietrich.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy A. Dietrich (Angstadt); his children, Erica L. (Christian Fisher) of Lancaster, Meggan M. (Jeremy Landis) of Wernersville and Herbert L. Dietrich, III (Pottsville); his grandchildren, Courtney Crawford, Aidan Fisher, Noah Fisher, Gabriel Landis and Bella Landis; his great grandchildren, Tyce and Zayden Crawford; and his sister Patricia (Barry Mowery).
