It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilmer L Young of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in West Newton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ayers Jr. Young and Roberta Young (Newberry); and his sister Patty Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Young (Johnston); his children, Jennifer Fraicola (Marty) of Pleasant Unity and Jeffrey Young (Audrey) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Thomas Fraicola (Miranda Sullenberger), Brianna Miller (Dakota), Brittany, Brooke, Tyler, Shelby Ross (Ron) and Mercedes Smith (Brady); his great grandchildren, Cecelia, Raelyn and Crew; his brother Jim Young (Alice) of West Newton; and his pets, Jewelz and Muffin.
In lieu of flowers, family is asking all memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
