He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Armitage Sr. and Shirley Armitage (Bash). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Armitage (Walsh); his children, Donald W. Armitage (Michelle) and Laura B. Armitage (Ross Johnson); his grandchildren, Allie Peterson, Nathan Peterson, Seaman Jr. Enlisted, Nicholas Armitage and Noah Armitage; his sister Susan Caruso (John); and his pets, Missy and Dixie. He is also survived by three nephews.
