He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Charles and Renee Sebesky Wechtenhiser; and his stepfather Tony Logar. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mary Long Wechtenhiser; and his children, Elizabeth (Betsy) Grill (Daniel) (Betsy) of Penfield, William Wechtenhiser (Valerie Ann) of Latrobe, Susan Flowers (Jeffrey) of Latrobe and Stephen Wechtenhiser (Sheila) of Reynolds Station, KY. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials are asked to be made to Sisters of Charity Seton Hill, 144 DePaul Center, Greensburg or St. Joseph Church, Derry.
