We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2021, at the age of 99, Velma Zeralda Smith of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Apollo, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter C. Smith and Ida Smith (Stobert); and her sister Erma Shade. She is survived by: her husband Harry Ambrose Smith Jr.; her children, Harry A. Smith III (Judith) of Elkins, WV, Patricia Levi (George) of Centennial, CO, Thomas W. Smith (Heather) of Greensburg and Rebecca Burger (Rene) of Manor; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Smith (Jessica), Samantha Newman (John), Emily Stites (Nick), Carolyn Levi, Rachel Cunningham, Bethany Faulk (Troy), Katie Kudrick (Kevin) and Matthew Burger (Nicolette); and her great grandchildren, Sia Smith, Harriet Newman, Addison, Logan Stites, Ethan and Reese Cunningham.
Entombment will be private. Due to COVID concerns, Velma's family would like to strongly encourage masks at these gatherings.
