With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen M. Shafran Jr. of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen M. Shafran Sr. and Dorothy M. Shafran (Auckerman); and his brother James Shafran. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Shafran (Wecera) of Latrobe; his children, Andrea L. Shafran (Larry Newcomer), Erica M. Shafran of Latrobe and Matthew S. Shafran (JoBeth) of Fletcher, NC; his brothers, Frank J. Shafran (Joyce) of Latrobe, David A. Shafran (Dorothy) of Ligonier and Jeffrey R. Shafran (Jane) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Harper, Annika, Darcy, Julia and Finley Shafran; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ellen Laick (Richard) of Latrobe, Marchetta Lentz (Charles) of Latrobe and Denise List (Chuck) of Greensburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
