He is survived by: his wife Betty Meyer Poponick (Harris) of Latrobe; his children, Stephen F. Poponick, Jr. (Paula Tucker) of Latrobe, Donna Poponick (Chris) of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Daughenbaugh (Bob Shaffer) of Blairsville and Carol Comunale (John) of Frederick, MD; and his grandchildren, Eric, Lauren, Natalie and Brian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
