It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sophie P. McIntyre of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Piwinsky and Mary Piwinsky (Sornwka); her husband Robert E. McIntyre; her daughter-in-law Linda McIntyre; and her siblings, Walter "Bill" Piwinsky, Wanda Macharyas and Josephine Cecchini.
She is survived by: her children, Robert C. McIntyre of Duluth, GA, Thomas A. McIntyre (Kim) of Latrobe, Patrick McIntyre (Carol) of Latrobe, Kevin McIntyre (Cheryl) of Tucson, AZ, Scott McIntyre (Kim) of Latrobe and Janet Moyher (Jack) of Mt. Pleasant; and her sister Stella Sheffler of New Alexandria. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 306 St. John Drive, Latrobe, PA 15650.
