He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Terney and Leah Grace Terney (Johnson). He is survived by: his children, Kathreine Marie Shrum, Sandy Gaffey and Derrick S. Terney; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Ryan, Dylan, Danielle, Matthew and Whitney; his great grandchildren, Jaxton, Aubreyann, Olivia, Anthony, Cassandra, Marcus, Eleanor, Cornelia, Zayden and Serenity; and his sisters, Annamae Boyer (Fred) and Arlene Larson (Emory). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
