He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C. Noel and Myra D. Noel (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Nannie G. Hoffmann Noel (Long) of Latrobe; his children, Nicola J. Noel-Soles (Roger) of Latrobe, Katherine D. Willochell (Leonard) of Latrobe, George S. Noel (Lori) of Enum Claw, WA and John J. Noel of Latrobe; his siblings, Richard Noel (Jan) of Latrobe, Barbara Sphon (Bill) of Latrobe and Linda Sphon (Jake) of Latrobe; and his stepsons, Jeffrey Hoffmann of Latrobe, Russell Hoffmann of Ohio and David Hoffmann (Jennifer) of New York. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
At Robert's request, his body will be donated to medical science to further advancements in medical research.
