He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Vera Schmidt, August and Kathryn Verscharen; and his uncle Edward Schmidt.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert "Bob" and Carole Verscharen (Schmidt) of Ligonier; his sisters, Christie Verscharen Scifo (Joe) of Tampa, FL and Kimberly Verscharen (Art) of Greensburg; and his nieces and nephews, Kaely Verscharen, Lily and Luca Scifo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
