He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Maher and Edna G. Maher (Hunt); his wife Joyce Maher (Casey); his son Thomas Maher; his daughter-in-law Trudy Maher; and his siblings, Monsignor William Maher, John, Edward, James Roger, Richard, Leo, Archabbot and Regina Atkinson.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy of Boardman, Christopher (Mary) of Cary and Mary (Madelynn Rigopoulos) of Cambria, California; his grandchildren, Carolyn of Brooklyn, Eric of Columbia, Mary of Culver City, Shaun (Kristin) of Plymouth Meeting, Corey of King and Casey of Fallon; and his brother Joseph of Latrobe.
Please be prepared to adhere to all current medical guidelines, including wearing a mask and social distancing while attending Mass. Due to the pandemic, there will not be any other gatherings at this time.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Christ the Divine Teacher School in Latrobe.
