He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. McKelvey and Henrietta McDowell McKelvey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Hall McKelvey; his children, Jeffrey R. McKelvey of Grand Rapids, MI and Beth Ann Bradley (William) of Saint Simon's Island, GA; his brother Paul Thomas McKelvey (Karen) of Ocean Pines, MD; his nephews, Scott and Tim McKelvey; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Miller and Janet Enos.
