Bates (Latrobe, Pennsylvania), born in Youngstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 19, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Bates and Emma Bates (Shanefelter); the mother of his children Judith Anne Bates (Johnston); his brothers, Marron and Donald Bates; and his nephew Ronald Bates.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy J. Bates (Donna) of Greensburg, Christopher J. Bates (Elizabeth) of Melbourne, FL and Jill A. Lisankis (James) of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Ryan, Rachel, Tyler and Amy Bates; and his great grandchild Ariel.
