He was predeceased by: his father Ronald L. "Doc" Kuhns, DC; and his brother Ryan Kuhns. He is survived by: his mother Arlene A. Carnahan (Dale) of Unity Township; his wife Christy M. Kuhns (Woods); his daughter Bayley Kuhns; his stepson Blake Bleehash; his brothers, Derrik Kuhns (Stacie) and Greg Kuhns (Cynde); his parents-in-law, Dennis and Mary Kay Woods; his siblings-in-law, Joshua Woods and Kelly Smith (Chris); and his pet Miss Riley.
