He was predeceased by: his daughter Alina Mehalic (Tom); and his parents, Barney Helfferich and Dolores Helfferich (Dira). He is survived by: his children, Jason Helfferich (Jill) and Brandi Frye (Shawn); his wife Louise Helfferich (Kepple); his siblings, Wren Shaulis (Guy), Scott (Gina) and Buck Helfferich (MaryAnn); his grandchildren, Zachary, Stacey Duncan, Ben and Amy Helfferich; his sister-in-law Lynn Comella (Bob); and his friends, Cindy and Jack Black.
