He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Ewanits and Catherine M Ewanits (Orischak); his wife Patricia A. Ewanits (Tylka); and his sister Rose Marie Sherback. He is survived by: his daughters, Michaelle R. Buskey of Lewis, DE, Lisa A. Mears of Monroeville, Marsha L. Ewanits of Lewis, DE and Tara J. Ewanits (Jonathan Patterson) of Latrobe; his siblings, Lawrence Ewanits of Latrobe, Denise Rudnick (Richard) of Florida, Deborah Harvan of Florida and Georgeann Long (Greg) of Derry; his grandchildren, Samantha Mears and Jacob Mears; and his close friend Margaret "Peggy" Noel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (306 St Johns Dr, Latrobe, PA 15650).
