She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis J. Copechal Sr. and Helen C. Copechal (Oswald); her siblings, Robert, Louis Copechal Jr. and Mary Meredith; and her stepsiblings, John "Pete" Smarty, Margaret Stouch, Marjorie Hecko and Violet Hyson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael S. Thompson of Slickville, Robert C. Thompson of Latrobe and Sherri L. Thompson of Luxor; her granddaughter Christine Pierdominici; and her sisters, Helen Louise Ogden (Richard) of Dallas, TX and Gertrude Paxton (Doug) of New Stanton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
