It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Salchak of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Cranesville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Petrus and Eva Petrus; her former husband Stephen Krivonak, Jr.; her husband John Salchak; her daughter Kathleen O'Brien; and her siblings, Stephen, Emil Petrus and Margaret Stafford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Evelynne Majernik of Latrobe, PA and Stephanie Krivonak of Kenosha, WI. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 p. m., and are invited to attend services there at 2:00 p. m. All CDC guidelines requiring face masks and social distancing will be in effect.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice in Mary's name.
