She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor E. Marol and Effie P. Marol (Myers); her husband Thomas C. Bernett; her daughters, Mary Anne Nolan and Carol Winters; and her siblings, Victor, Benedict, James Marol, Cecelia Leonard and Bernadette O'Hara.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda L. DiOrio (Tony) of Greensburg; her brother Gerald Marol (Sandy) of Latrobe; and her grandchildren, Nicole Nolan, Racheal Whittaker (Joel), Angela DiOrio, Julia DiOrio and Thomas C. Ballantyne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
