He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer D. Montgomery and Bernice I. Montgomery (Douglass); and his siblings, Elmer D., John B. Montgomery and Gayle E. Montgomery-Beaumont.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Montgomery (Trice) of Latrobe; his sons, Robert D. Montgomery (Diane) of Mechanicsburg and Barry S. Montgomery (Vicki) of Mt. Pleasant; his stepsons, Michael Harr (Debbie) of Latrobe, Robert Harr (Rebecca) of Latrobe and Brian Harr (Kristi) of Latrobe; his sister Christina O'Leary (Robert) of White Oak; his grandchildren, Zeke, Chase, Reece, Rorke, Meade Montgomery, Spencer, Zane, Bryton Montgomery, Bobby, Bryce, Angelo and Tori Harr; his great grandchildren, Alayna, Charlotte and Paisley; and his friends, Greg, Waldena, Justin and Jeremy Beaver of New Alexandria. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
