He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schober Sr. and Margaret Schober (Kornides); his wife Nancy Lou Schober (Stahl); his son Joseph David Schober; his daughter-in-law Caren; his siblings, Leona Schober Linhart, Helen Schober Musnug, Edward Schober, Richard Schober and Ronald Schober; and his brother-in-law Harold Harr (Huck).
He is survived by: his siblings, Irene Harr of Latrobe and Donald Schober of Wichita, Kansas; his sisters-in-law, Connie Schober of Latrobe and Rose Schober of Latrobe; his children, Dean, Denny (Donna), Donald (Caryl), Douglas and Diana Catalano (Louis Catalano); his daughter-in-law Bonnie Schober; and his grandchildren, Andrea Jordan (Willy), Lee Schober (Jessica), Jodie McQuaide, Crystal Plummer (Vincent), Adriana Catalano (Matt) and Jordin Schober (Jennifer).
