With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Evan Vachal of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Lloyd Vachal and Mary Mildred Vachal (Young); his brother-in-law Charles Musnug; and his close friends, Don Lape and Moe Loughner.
He is survived by: his wife Roseann Vachal (Olszewski) of Latrobe; his children, Jarrod Waterman (Candy) of Avonmore, Jessica McGartland (Aaron) of Ligonier and Jason Waterman (Katie) of Pleasant Hills; his grandchildren, Gracie, Jacob, Cooper and Emmy; and his sister Mary Jane Musnug of Latrobe. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
