It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Sabatos of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Sabatos and Catherine E. Sabatos (Penezic); and his brothers, Bernard and Joseph Sabatos. He is survived by: his wife Janice E. Sabatos (Paulin) of Latrobe; his sons, John W. Sabatos (Betsy) of Wexford, David C. Sabatos of Hazle Twp and D. J. Sabatos (Dana) of Allison Park; his grandchildren, Ali Lingley (Greg), Jill Sabatos, Emmy Sabatos, Ben Sabatos and Abby "Bub" Sabatos; his siblings, Charles J. Sabatos (Marilyn) of Gibsonia, William A. Sabatos (Nancy) of Murrysville, Richard E. Sabatos of Greenville, IL and Catherine Sabatos of Frederick, MD; and his sister-in-law Renee Sabatos of Bethel Park. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Latrobe Art Center, 819 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, PA 15650.
