He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gera and Anna Gera (Novak); and his sister Dr. Anna Marie Yurick. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Ament); his son John Paul; his daughter-in-law Susan; his grandchildren, Isabella and John-Paul of Greensburg; and his siblings, Dorothy Mizikar (Eugene) of Jefferson Borough, Andrew of Mutual, Joseph of Mutual and Jerry of Mutual. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
