She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Ferri and Mary Ferri (DelCostello); her husband Richard E. Short; and her brothers, Paul T. and Anthony Ferry.
She is survived by: her children, LuAnne Short Glessner (Tim) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Richard E. "Pete" Short Jr. (Jonna) of Latrobe and David E. Short (Rita) of Latrobe; her sisters, Minnie Salandro (Frank) of Greensburg and Jean Rodgers of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Daniel Glessner, Gregory Glessner (Hannah), Ashley Merichko (Rich), Jacob Short, Shawn Short (Kara), Justin Short (Madison DeLuca), Logan Short, Cole Short and Joshua Short; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Kennedy, Addie, Isla and Greyson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 5206 Center Drive, Latrobe, PA 15650.
