It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Frendy of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Joan departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joan. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph S. Hoenshell and Muriel E. Hoenshell (Lyons); and her siblings, Ralph, Kenneth Hoenshell and Diane Peters.
She is survived by: her husband James A. Frendy Sr.; her children, James A. Frendy Jr. (Kim) of Greensburg and Jody L. Guidas (Chris LeFevers) of Latrobe; and her grandchildren, Rebekah Frendy, Michael Guidas, Rhiannon Frendy and Keynan Frendy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
