He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin and Josephine Franklin (Berkey); his wife Margaret Veronica Katonka Franklin; his grandson Ethan; and his siblings, Ruth Walroth, Margaret Gettins, Eleanor Layton, Verna McLean, Raymond, Robert and William Franklin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Jellison (James) and Susan Capitano (Andy); and his grandchildren, James R. Jellison Jr. (Kelly), Andrew G. and Isabella R. Capitano.
