It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Schoming of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore L. Schoming and Elsie Schoming (Horne); and his sister Theodora "Teddi" Gilberti. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Schoming (Hoffman) of Latrobe; his children, James Mark Schoming (Debbie) of Greensburg, Chris P. Schoming (Peggy) of Pittsburgh, Lyn Chattaway (Leonard) of Ligonier and Jenn Gunter (Paul) of Ligonier; his grandchildren, Carrie Pinos (Will), Jason Schoming (Alex), Lori Gresh, Megan Bonk (Jacob), Rachel Brant (Neil), Paige Tibbs (Mosi), Hayley Moelker (Nathan), Becca Chattaway and Hannah Gunter; and his great grandchildren, Kaedon, Rowan, River, Gabe and Micah.
