It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline J. Petro of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shaffer and Marie L. Shaffer (Shiley); her husband George Petro; her sons-in-law, Bernard Murphy and Jerry Dean; and her siblings, Ronald Shaffer, Florence "Toots" Fink and Nichola "Nikki" Person.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Petro (Sylvia), George M. Petro (Kim), Dana McDowell (Tom), Dawn Murphy, Denise Petro-Dean and Debra Petro Anderson (Randy); and her siblings, Jerry Shaffer, Stephyne Reeves (Kenneth), Michele Goodman (James), Jamie Lotinsky (Sam) and Kandy Noel (Larry). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
