With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen M. Palek of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Hostetter, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 20, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Smith and Anna M. Smith (Bench); her husband Richard J. Palek; her son Richard M. Palek; and her siblings, Thomas R. Jr., Andrew J., Michael E. "Pete" Smith, Adeline J. Phelan Lloyd, Ann E. Tewes and Mary Margaret Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee M. Palek of Latrobe and Sharon Uhring (Edward) of Latrobe; her grandchildren, Jason Eaglehouse (Mary), Kelly Eaglehouse, Jessica Uhring, Katie Tomko (Kyle), Caitlin Mann and Alaina Palek; and her great grandchild Isabella Eaglehouse.
