She was predeceased by: her parents, Lem Stoner and Emma Stoner (Gleckl); her husband Edmund C. "Red" Knapp, Jr.; and her siblings, Frank Zitterbart, Richard Stoner and Rose Zitterbart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judi A. Davidson (Gary) of Alamogordo, NM, Sue C. Sedlacko (Larry) of Greensburg and Chris L. Ellenberger of Latrobe; her sister Gloria "Dodie" Luttner of Latrobe; her grandchildren, Elise Gorman (Ed), Chelsea Ankney, Ali Walters (Nathan), Josh Ellenberger and Luke Ellenberger; and her great grandchildren, Brady, Mary, Gauge, Owen, Kaylee, Milo, Mason and Oliver.
