He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Novak and Ann Novak (Mehal); and his brother Richard D. Novak. He is survived by: his wife Val Rossi-Novak; his daughters, Laurie K. Novak (Brent Cook) of St. Simons Island, GA and Leda K. Hill (Scott Yandle) of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughter Jada L. Hill; and his brothers, Henry "Herk" Novak Jr. (Gen Novak) and Edward Novak (Marilyn Tlumach). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
