He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Wigfield and Ida P. Wigfield (Betler); his wife Anna Belle Wigfield (Walter); and his sisters, Ida Maestrole, Clara Lytle and Elsie McCurdy.
He is survived by: his children, H. Wesley Wigfield (Patricia) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Matthew W. Wigfield (Faye) of Natrona Heights, PA, Katherine A. Hunter (David) of Latrobe, Rebecca S. Lewis (Jeffrey) of Greensburg and William E. Wigfield (Anita) of Ligonier; his granddaughters, Amanda Olson (Eric), Dawn Glew (Jason), Tara Gentleman (Jeremiah), Emily Lee (Brandon), Michelle Metzler (Regis) and Shanna Horner (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Kayley, Logan, Ethan, Quentin, Jaden, Eleora, Mason, Maddox, Laelah and Dylan.
