With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George V. Jakubovic of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Jakubovic and Irene Jakubovic (Dolan); and his siblings, Mary "Madge" Busko and Ronald "Jake" Jakubovic. He is survived by : his children, Georgeann Graff (Edward) and Ronald J. Jakubovic (Diana Lovis); his grandchildren, John Ellenberger (Jerica), Melanie Zimmerman-Docchio (Will), Ronnie Jakubovic (Val) and Katie Jakubovic (Jake); his great grandchild Hayley Zimmerman (Joe); and his sister Maureen Rose (Hank). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent Basilica (300 Fraser Purchase Rd, Latrobe, PA 15650). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Vincent Cemetery (300 Fraser Purchase Rd, Latrobe, PA 15650).
