He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene C. Markiewicz and Nora Jean Markiewicz (Dickie); and his brother John W. "Jake" Markiewicz. He is survived by: his wife Eva M. Markiewicz (Bonim) of Latrobe; his sons, Patrick F. Markiewicz (Eileen) of Irvine, CA, Andrew J. Markiewicz (Angela) of Herndon, VA and Stephen T. Markiewicz (Libby) of New Derry; his grandchildren, Jamie, Michael and Matthew; and his sisters, Cathy Edwards (David) of Acworth, GA and Nancy Shaffer (Paul) of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
