She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Boot and Mary Boot (Thompson); her husband John F. "Jack" Eckert; her son John "Jae" Eckert; her siblings, Mary Doris Spang and Al Boot; and her sister-in-law Jean Casey of Myrtle Beach.
She is survived by: her aunt Evelyn; her daughter-in-law Lory Eckert of Derry; her nieces, Ruth Ann Hutson (John) of Gibsonia, Deanna Carvalho (Carlos) of Sewickley and Michele Hanlon of Brentwood; her nephew John Spang of Carnegie; and also Carlos. She is also survived by several grandnephews and niece.
