She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Roy Rupert and Anna Louise Rupert (Houck); her husband George T. Metrick; and her brother William E. Rupert. She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea L. Boggio (Rick) of Bradenville and Rebecca L. Young (Lawrence "Billy" Ankney III) of Derry; her grandchildren, Bolton Boskovitch, Anicia Boskovitch (Zachary Lelich) and Corey Young (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Reese Lewandoski, Brantley and Brayley Young.
At Emilie's request, her body has been donated to further scientific research.
