It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Marie Clair of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Maurice and Ellen Marie Hough (Steiner); her husband Albert E. "Bert" Clair; her brother Calvin Hough; her daughter-in-law LuAnn; her siblings, Jeanine Simms, Nancy Cavallo and Charles Hough; and her brother-in-law Donald Clair.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin E. Clair, Denise Y. Ginder, Brenda A. Hixson (Cyril), Mary Ann Rose (Jeffery) and Jeffery A. Clair (Marian). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home Inc. (1543 Ligonier St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
