We bid farewell to Elaine M. Jacobs of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Elaine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francesco Moranelli and Maria Moranelli (Iannuzzi); her siblings, Pasquale F., Vincent F., Domenick C. Moranelli, Filomena Florence Moranelli and Rose M. Sarp; her sister-in-law Marlene Moranelli; her nephew Vincent Moranelli Jr.; and her friends, Mary Anne Keener Gray and Sue Rosen.
She is survived by: her pets, Bandit, Lexxi, Becker, Juno, Dane and Lambie; her husband John A. Jacobs of Latrobe; her children, Scott Jacobs of Latrobe and Jodi Lenz (Dave) of Cranberry Twp; her brother-in-law Francis Sarp of Latrobe; her nieces and nephews, Linda Epstein (Matthew), Daniel Sarp, Lisa Ulishney (Rob), Karen Sarp (Craig), Dina Novak (Ted), Thomas K. Sarp (Cindy), Kevin Sarp (Margie) and Mandi Moranelli Crocker (Kevin); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayla, Joshua, Jacob, Jenna, Lorenzo, Marissa, Adam, Nina and Elena; her pet Khaos; and her friends, Phyllis Milner Marks, Lydia Stumpf Herrholtz, Virginia Battaglia Riley, Mary Jo Pagnanelli Silvis, Clare Poerstel, Mary Lou Korzak Zahuranic, Barbara Marcinik, Joanne Flowers DelSordo and Lorraine Hinger.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (1200 Ligonier St, Latrobe, PA 15650).
