He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus F. and Mary E. Cackowski (Kubistek); and his siblings, Vincent, Joseph, Frank Cackowski, Anna Cackowski, Cecelia Cackowski and Rose Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Cackowski (McCullough) of Latrobe; his children, Wallace "Wally" Cackowski of Greensburg and Connie Jenkins (John) of Latrobe; his sisters, Agnes Onusko of Youngstown and Mamie Hall of Derry; his granddaughters, Jessica Smith (Brandon) and Tara Jenkins (Chalmers Helman); and his great grandchild Alexander Smith.
