Edward D. Showalter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 96, Edward D. Showalter of Latrobe, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Showalter and Ruth Showalter (MacMillan); his wife Mary Showalter (Giffen); his son Michael E. Showalter; and his siblings, William A. Showalter Sr. and Nancy Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy M. Showalter (Annette) of Latrobe, Daniel C. Showalter (Susan) of Vancouver Island, Edward G. Showalter of Latrobe, Matthew Q. Showalter (Diane) of Latrobe, Patricia A. Hauser (Joseph) of Latrobe and Kathleen R. Stein (Matthew) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Nikki Speer (John), Katie Showalter, Michael Showalter, Erik Showalter (Morgan), Charlie Hauser (Wade Flickinger), Samantha Keefer (Robert), Luke Stein and Jack E. Stein; and his great grandchildren, Ramsey, Wolfgang, Everly, Easton and Camden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650).
